Introduction to editing

From the previous lesson, we had to edit our sequences together therefore we went into the editing sweet and opened up 'Adobe Premiere Pro'. In our groups, we opened up all of our shots and began to decide roughly what order we could put them in. Then we opened the sequence up with our establishing shot, cropping the sections out with 'I' then 'O' to cut the bit we want. Then we dragged the shot to the main board where our shots fit in together. We carried this on with all of our shots and made a good sequence.

We learnt that the simpler the idea and actions, the easier it was to create a good continuity in the piece. Also, we found the over head shot of my watch was really effective as it was done hand held. This task developed our editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and helped us with the uses and skills of the different cameras.
